Looking to break into a career in Financial Services?
The FinTrU Financial Services Academy is supported by the Department for the Economy.
The FinTrU Financial Services Academy is divided into two learning stages:
Stage 1 (Five weeks): FinTrU Training Academy
Stage 2 (Two years): FinTrU Academy Graduate Programme
Technical trainers and lecturers are market leading experts who have international market expertise in working within the Financial Services industry.
Personal Development trainers all possess a wealth of experience in “getting the best from people” and can bring unique learnings to the programme.
Successful Academy participants will have the opportunity to complete level 1 of the Investment Operating Certificate (IOC) through CISI and a potential offer of employment.
Previous experience is not required but graduates must hold at least a 2.2 in any discipline. For the duration of the programme participants will be paid £150 training allowance per week plus travel expenses.
FINANCIAL SERVICES ACADEMY
Interviews/team exercise sessions take place at FinTrU North West Office, Carlisle House.
The FinTrU Training Academy comprises of mixed blended learning at North West Regional College and Ulster University.
Candidates who successfully complete the training will have the opportunity of employment with FinTrU.

Successful applicants claiming Job Seekers Allowance can contact their local Jobs and Benefits office to have a ‘Better off Calculation’ carried out before proceeding with the programme.

Regulatory Risk and Compliance
CISI Investment Operations Certificate Unit 1
Business Relationship Management
Creative Problem Solving
Once employed as an Analyst, you will receive continuous professional development:
Product Specific Skills Training and Knowledge Transfer
Client Delivery Experience
Training and Exposure in relation to Derivative Documentation (ISDA/CSA)
CISI Investment Operations Certificate Unit 2
CISI Investment Operations Certificate Unit 3 (specialise in 1 of 5 module options)
