Undergraduates from across the country sample a flavour of the future of finance
Each summer we open our doors to undergraduates from across the country at our Letterkenny, Derry-Londonderry and Belfast sites. Our Insights programme provides an opportunity for university students to experience the work we do and to sample working life. It can also provide a stepping stone to FinTrU's Financial Services Placement Programme which opens in September each year.
Across the three-day programme, our guests received an overview of our key areas in the business, specifically KYC, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Legal. We also facilitated Q&A sessions with senior leaders and a ‘Meet the Analysts’ morning to provide a real-life working perspective, from early careers to experienced professionals.
This summer also saw the launch of our Insights Programme at our Porto office. We had the pleasure of hosting a group of ambitious students from FDUP – University of Porto and EEG – University of Minho.
From thought-provoking sessions to real-world challenges and networking with our teams, these future changemakers brought energy, curiosity, and fresh ideas to the table. A huge thank you to all participants and our university partners for making this experience an unforgettable one.
