Bringing together our shared ideals, social conscience, and commitment to a healthy work-life balance
The TrU Ability Committee promotes disability awareness within FinTrU. A key aim of the committee is to drive the education of our employees and the critical evaluation of our practices from recruitment to onboarding to general work practices and beyond. TrU Ability is divided into three main streams: Physical, Mental and Neurodiversity.
Focusing on LGBTQ+ diversity and acceptance, our TrU Colours Committee promotes and organises events and initiatives throughout the year. From participation in larger regional events such as Pride to internal Lunch & Learn sessions, the committee is dedicated to celebrating inclusivity and educating employees.
The TrUly Diverse Committee aims to give employees who make up the many different cultures at FinTrU a voice within the company. They focus on both celebrating these cultures and educating others about them. The committee works to ensure that individuals from all communities feel welcome and empowered within FinTrU.
The TrU Wellness Committee focuses on the overall wellbeing of employees at FinTrU, addressing the physical, emotional, financial, nutritional and social aspects of wellness. Through the organisation of onsite events and the sharing of wellness advice, TrU Wellness reinforces FinTrU’s investment in employee health and happiness.
The Women in Finance Committee raises awareness of the benefits of gender diversity across FinTrU, with a wider objective to help strengthen the Financial Services industry by empowering women to achieve their potential at each career stage. The committee has adopted a strategy to help FinTrU provide the best development opportunities for women at more all career levels.
The FinTrU Charity Fund supports our UK and Portugal based employees in their fundraising activities across a wide range of charities.
As part of our commitment to make a positive contribution to our local communities, it gives our employees and committees the autonomy to choose a specific charity that is close to their heart and to organise their own fund-raising events.
Based in Letterkenny, Donegal Hospice is a palliative care home run by a dedicated team of professionals covering the county of Donegal.
Since 2024, the hospice has been the charity partner of FinTrU's Letterkenny site. Alongside fundraising throughout the year, employees also volunteer their spare time to help out at the care home. Regular fundraisers include an annual quiz, the Easter egg roll, and bake sales throughout the year.
FinTrU's core values were developed by our employees for our employees. Partnership, Passion, People and Professionalism underpin everything we do.
Long-term collaboration drives our business growth and success. We continually look to promote initiatives to enhance the overall wellbeing of both the communities in which we operate and FinTrU.
