FinTrU's Febulous Challenge
BY DENISE MCCANN
MONDAY 11 MARCH 2019
The Febulous challenge is a company-wide health and wellbeing initiative that has become a mainstay of the FinTrU calendar.
Employees are encouraged for the month of February to take part in active challenges throughout the day, whether that be by simply taking the stairs, having walking meetings, or even participating in our weekly yoga or HIIT classes. This year saw a focus on the theme of ‘collaboration’ with teams encouraged to get active together.
At FinTrU, we recognise that employee wellbeing is integral to creating a working environment in which individuals can thrive. Within FinTrU we actively encourage our staff to get involved with our various sports and social clubs and events. All clubs and societies within FinTrU are set up and managed by the employees. The TrU Wellness committee was created in order to help promote and encourage health and well-being initiatives, like Febulous, throughout the company.
Kathy Bell, FinTrU Talent Acquisition Manager, and TrU Wellness Lead, commented, “This is only our second year of Febulous but with the competitive spirit alive and well in FinTrU everyone fully embraced the theme of collaboration. With increasingly creative entries throughout the month, I was very glad not to be on our judging panel who had an unenviable task at the end of the month. The buzz around Febulous across all of our offices has been amazing and I’ve heard plans are already being formulated for next year….”
Below is a gallery of some pictures taken throughout the challenge across both the Belfast and North West offices.
