FinTrU is committed to gender balance at all levels of the organisation, with particular emphasis on developing Female Leaders for the Future.

We have adopted a dual strategy to make FinTrU both a more attractive employer to female graduates at the start of their careers and, in addition, to provide the best development opportunities for women at more senior levels.

FinTrU hosted ‘Women in Finance – Pathway To Success’ in Riddel Hall on November 2018. Riddel Hall was filled with attendees intrigued to hear from an all-female panel made up of leading industry experts.

The event included personal insights from the panelists in the world of finance and how women can 'Get There, Stay There and Lead the Way."

To ensure that our female employees feel engaged and included, FinTrU's "Women in Finance" Committee has the following goals:

  • Engagement of Secondary Schools at both GCSE and A-Level years

  • Interaction with Universities and Graduates from all degree backgrounds to promote Internships and Academy programmes

  • Promotion of internal and external guest speaker events to both Graduate and Professional Networks

  • Ongoing development for the FinTrU female population
