DARRAGH MCCARTHY
FOUNDER & CEO
Darragh McCarthy is the CEO and Founder of FinTrU. He started his career at Morgan Stanley in 1994 and remained there until late 2012. During his time at Morgan Stanley, Darragh was based in London, Frankfurt and New York and held various responsibilities including Global COO for Institutional Securities, COO for EMEA, Head of Fixed Income Sales North America and Head of Fixed Income Sales EMEA.
In 2013 Darragh founded FinTrU recognising the increasing demand from Global Investment Banks for high-quality resources to navigate the ever-increasing regulatory landscape. Whilst managed as a profit-driven organisation, Darragh also considers FinTrU as having a social purpose to create high-quality professional employment on the island of Ireland.
Darragh has a First Class Honours BComm International from University College of Dublin, Ireland. He has been nominated for EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018. Darragh speaks fluent German and Dutch.

FinTrU to sponsor the 2018 Ulster GAA Inter Firms

FinTrU and Ulster GAA are delighted to announce a new sponsorship deal for the Ulster GAA Football Inter Firms competition for 2018.
Registration for the 2018 FinTrU Ulster GAA Football Inter Firms Competition is now open for teams right across the province – both male and female.
Catering for all levels of skills and fitness, the Inter-Firms competition provides a great opportunity to represent your workplace in Gaelic games.
This year the Inter-Firms games will take place over two days in November at the Tyrone GAA Centre of Excellence, Garvaghey as follows:
Sat 3rd Nov – Senior Men’s & Intermediate Men’s
Sat 10th Nov – Junior Men’s & Ladies
Competitions will be played on a 13 a-side format, unless two competing teams agree to play 15 a-side. All competitions will be played to completion on the day.
To declare your organisation’s intention to take part in any grade this year, please register your team by emailing Niall Muldoon at niall.muldoon.ulster@gaa.ie no later than Friday 20th October.
