Prof. Nola Hewitt-Dundas

Nola Hewitt-Dundas is Head of Queen’s Management School and Professor of Innovation Management and Policy. Her research focuses on the dynamics of entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems, technology transfer and evaluation of intervention to support university commercialization efforts. Alongside her role as Head of School, she is a Senior Research Fellow with the UK Enterprise Research Centre, an ESRC-Innovate UK Innovation Caucus Thought Leader, a member of the Assessment Panel for REF2021 and an elected council member of the UK Chartered Association of Business Schools. She has extensive consultancy experience, having advised the NI Assembly, NESTA, HEFCE, Forfas Ireland, InterTradeIreland, the EU and World Bank.  Her research is published in leading international journals including Research Policy, Small Business Economics, International Small Business Journal, Regional Studies and the Journal of Technology Transfer.
