FinTrU, in association with Queen’s Management School, are proud to present the third in our series of lectures on key issues in the financial services industry: 'Whistleblowing in Financial Services' with special guest speakers Bradley C. Birkenfeld and Professor Kate Kenny.

Bradley C. Birkenfeld - Retired investment professional, influential whistleblower and author 


Bradley C. Birkenfeld is a retired investment professional and the most significant financial whistleblower in history. He is the author of “Lucifer’s Banker: The Untold Story of How I Destroyed Swiss Bank Secrecy.” As an international private banker he exposed how UBS, one of the world’s largest banks, helped ultra-wealthy Americans commit billions in tax fraud.


Professor Kate Kenny - Professor of Management and Organisation Studies, Queen’s Management School 


Kate Kenny is a Professor in Management and Organization Studies at Queen’s University Belfast. She is currently researching whistleblowing in organizations, with projects funded by ESRC, the British Academy/ Leverhulme Trust, ACCA and the Edmond J. Safra Lab at Harvard University. Professor Kenny continues to work on books and articles related to this topic.


The guest speakers will be joined by panellists Darragh McCarthy (CEO & Founder of FinTrU) and Donal McKillop (Professor of Financial Services, Queen's University Belfast).
