FinTrU is delighted to commence the recruitment process of our ninth Financial Services Graduate Academy. We have experienced significant growth over the last number of years and are showing no signs of slowing down. As a company, we have doubled our headcount year-on-year since 2014.
As a rapidly expanding Financial Services resourcing provider, we continue to look for talented graduates to join our Financial Services Academy with the end goal of securing employment as a Financial Analyst in our Belfast Centre of Excellence.
Here at FinTrU, we offer a bespoke vendor service specialising in Financial Services covering Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, KYC and Consultancy Services. As part of this role, you will work alongside clients, including some of the largest global financial institutions, to deliver best in class regulatory process remediation and execution services.

It is a six-week programme, designed to provide graduates with the core skills needed to take up exciting new graduate roles in FinTrU’s Belfast Centre of Excellence.”

"Successful Academy participants will gain industry recognised qualifications including Investment Operations Certificates (IOC) and a potential offer of employment. Previous experience is not required but graduates must hold at least a 2.2 in any degree discipline and be numerate, communicative, entrepreneurial, and ambitious."
The Financial Services Graduate Academy is a six-week programme, designed to provide 20 graduates with the core skills needed to take up exciting new graduate roles our Belfast office. Graduates selected to join the programme will receive practical, real world training on Capital Markets, Financial Regulations, Analytics, and Organisational Skills.
Neil Beattie and Victoria McQuilkin, who graduated from our seventh Academy in 2017, are flourishing in their roles as Analysts at FinTrU.
Victoria said “Despite my background being in retail, my friends who had been through the Academy reassured me that these skills can still be applied to the financial services industry. Regardless of your background there is an opportunity for everyone at FinTrU and the Academy is the perfect way to prepare you for a professional career in finance.”
Neil Beattie added “My degree was in mathematics so was indirectly related to finance, however, the Academy helped me to focus my skills and be able to apply them to the tasks I carry out daily. The Academy also gave me the background knowledge of financial services that I wouldn’t have had otherwise, meaning that I was well equipped to begin work with Tier 1 Investment Banks.”
The selection process will include an online aptitude test and an interview/team exercise that will be held on the week commencing 19th February 2018.
Training for successful applicants will take place in Greater Belfast starting on Monday 5th March 2018. For the duration of the training participants will be paid £150 training allowance per week plus travel expenses.
