FinTrU recognised for Fast Growth at Aer Lingus TakeOff Foundation Business Awards

They are joined by Aer Lingus cabin crew member Jo Freeman at the 10th annual Aer Lingus TakeOff Foundation Business Awards on the 8th of May, in the IoD Headquarters, Pall Mall, London.

Belfast based FinTrU Ltd celebrated lifting the Fast Growth Business Award at the tenth annual Aer Lingus TakeOff Foundation Business Awards, which took place on Tuesday 8th May in the palatial surroundings of the Institute of Directors Headquarters on Pall Mall, London. 

The gala lunch ceremony was attended by some of Northern Ireland’s most impressive and innovative companies and on the day seven companies and two individuals were recognised for their achievements. 

Founded in 2013, FinTrU is a Financial Services Company that provides high quality, cost-effective, near-shore outsourced specialist Legal, Compliance, Regulatory and Operational services for the international investment banking industry and financial services sector.

Clients are typically Tier 1 investment banks who are either headquartered or have a large presence in London and New York.

On receiving the award, CEO Darragh McCarthy said; “FinTrU has grown at an exceptional pace in terms of its people, profits and product offering. With a headcount of 230 employees we have big plans to grow to a 1,000-strong workforce. 

“FinTrU’s profit has doubled year on year with a consistent profit margin of 45% and we have added three new global clients, since 2017. We credit our growth to our excellence in quality and innovation and our investment in employee benefits which put us on par with our locally based, globally renowned competitors.”
