FinTrU Mountaineering Club climbs Ben Nevis for PIPS Charity

MONDAY 2 SEPTEMBER 2019

On Saturday 24 August seven members of the FinTrU Mountaineering Group successfully climbed Ben Nevis to raise funds for company charity partner, PIPS. It took a total of seven hours to complete the climb but all efforts were for a very worthy cause.

At 1,345m it is the highest mountain in the UK and Ireland, and the highest mountain that the FinTrU Mountaineering Group has climbed together. Previous achievements of the FinTrU Mountaineering Group to date included reaching the highest point in every county in Ulster, and climbing to the highest points in both Ireland and Wales.
