On Monday 7th May FinTrU and Include Youth took part in this year's Belfast Marathon Relay, with over 60 runners in our teams combined it was hard to miss the blur of blue making its way through the course.

This year FinTrU took part in the Belfast Marathon Relay 2018 to raise funds for Include Youth, our charity partner two years running. Include Youth is a regional rights-based charity for young people in or leaving care, from disadvantaged communities or whose rights are not being met to improve their employability and personal development.

We're passionate about our partnership with this charity because it embodies the values at the heart of FinTrU and allows us to help local youth reach their true potential. FinTrU has regular events in partnership with Include Youth, which include Interview Skills days to help prepare the youth for life in the professional world and to help equip them with the skills to succeed in achieving their goals and ambitions. We also have regular fundraising initiatives such as bake sales and quizzes to raise funds for them throughout the year.

We set ourselves a goal this year to raise a minimum of £5,000 fundraising from the marathon alone which would then be donated to the charity and could go a long way in helping the youth, Including enabling them to access educational courses that may not have otherwise been accessible before to purchasing laptops to aid them in their studies and classes. Senior Management have also kindly pledged to match the overall total raised, which will double the overall donation given at the end.

We're absolutely thrilled that we have already surpassed the target and the final total will be revealed this coming Friday. There's still time to donate if you wish to do so online by clicking this link:
