The tenth Financial Service Academy Graduates have recently completed their first week at FinTrU. Continuing company tradition which sees talent from a range of degree disciplines given the opportunity to forge a new career in Financial Services.

Academy X includes graduates who have obtained Undergraduate Degree’s in Politics, Education, History and Theology, Law. Sports Coaching, Property Development  to name but a few.

Our new colleagues may not necessarily have studied Finance at University but they will now gain industry recognised qualifications including Investment Operations Certicates (IOC) due to their completion of the Academy process and subsequent employment here at FinTrU.

Michael McNulty:

"I am part of the KYC team at FinTrU and my colleagues have made me feel at home with a very warm welcome. It was great walking into FinTrU with 40 immediate friends as it made the task a lot less daunting. The training and support provided has given me the confidence to begin my career in Financial Services."

Annette McGirr:

"I have really enjoyed my experience to date. The Academy was a great way to get to know my future colleagues whilst learning skills needed for working in Financial Services.

I am now part of the Transaction Reporting team and I look forward to the training and support that will be provided.

I am excited to get involved socially with the many clubs and societies available at FinTrU."

Gary Fletcher:

"I thoroughly enjoyed my experience on the Academy as it gave me the opportunity to meet new people, from a wide range of disciplines, all striving for a career in the financial services industry.  The Academy gave me the opportunity to learn, grow and feel confident going into my role working in an Outreach Project. I am looking forward to learning more and having an enjoyable career with FinTrU."

The Financial Services Graduate Academy is a six-week programme, designed to provide 20 graduates with the core skills needed to take up exciting new graduate roles in our Belfast office. The latest graduates were selected to join the programme and received practical, real world training on Capital Markets, Financial Regulations, Analytics, and Organisational Skills.

We wish all our new colleagues the very best of luck here at FinTrU.
