FinTrU has provided the opportunity for two students to complete a Higher-Level Apprenticeship with FinTrU and in partnership with Belfast Met. The aim is to qualify with Accounting Technicians Ireland at the end of the 2-year course in the hope to become Chartered Accountants.

This opportunity has provided both Jordan and Aoife to study and work in a multi-award winning Financial Services company. FinTrU wish both a successful journey with FinTrU.

Jordan Adams
FinTrU has given me the opportunity to complete tasks that are not only enjoyable, challenging and relevant to my Accounting Technicians Ireland qualification, but are also essential processes within the finance team.
Study and work go hand in hand, which FinTrU really values and it’s great to see the support network I’ve received to implement this.

I am very excited to be completing my Higher-Level Apprenticeship with FinTrU and in partnership with Belfast Met. I am aiming to qualify with Accounting Technicians Ireland at the end of the 2-year course, after which I hope to continue to become a Chartered Accountant.

For me, working in the finance department along with studying is a great experience - I am always learning new aspects of accountancy and have a chance to put my new skills to the test in a working environment. I enjoy having the responsibility to complete day to day tasks to show my capabilities.

My colleagues at FinTrU have been very friendly and have helped me feel at ease when joining the team. I am really looking forward to my journey here and I am excited for all of the new possibilities that lie ahead.
